We should all work to increase local autonomy. Rely more on the local, spending within our economies. Support your local farmers, restaurants, and other businesses. Give aid to those who need it, and inquire with the establishment of whatever religion or sect you adhere to for opportunities in local volunteer and community work. Get involved in local politics and support your community.
Learn the history of your community and its traditions. Work to preserve that history, and do what you can to teach it to the younger generations.
