MIL thinks I’m uptight for not wanting to watch Outlander. It’s rated MA, which I try to avoid, and the parental guide’s first entry is of a graphic, prolonged homosexual rape. And there are apparently multiple other scenes of sexual violence. Uhh no.

Why are all shows like this now?????

Because people act like sex in media isn’t tasteless, toxic, and unnecessary for their own benefit.
