Planned Parenthood may offer other services aside from abortion, but the clinics ALWAYS close down when, for whatever reason, they can no longer provide abortion.

Why? If PP cares so much about women’s health, why can they not continue to offer their other services even if they can not provide abortion? Why do they close down instead if they are supposed to be some valuable, needed resource?

I am all for women’s health clinics. But, I am not for “clinics” like PP that cave in and close up the moment they can not provide abortion as one of their services.

Because that’s not women’s health: that’s a business profiting off of women’s vulnerability as childbearers, and that is disgustingly manipulative.

Been saying this to “pro choice” people all the time. Why provide abortions if it’s not about that? A clinic can do the same thing. Why not focus on birth control and sex ed, if that’s what PP is really about? Obviously because it’s their business and it brings them money.
