my mother is a nurse and was recently called by her boss (she’s out of town on vacation mind you) to testify about a potential hipaa violation.
she cannot think of a reason as to how she would have possibly violated hipaa (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act—aka making sure that all patient personal information is kept private).
if she is somehow found guilty, she will get fired and very likely lose her medical license.
please keep her in your prayers.

just got off the phone with my mom—she’s not out of the woods yet, but after today’s questioning from the directors and some help from a union representative, she’s feeling cautiously optimistic.
she was literally blown away by how many people are praying for her. she said she felt calm and at peace all throughout the questioning.
she humbly asks that we continue to pray for her.
