If you don’t like abortions DONT HAVE ONE.

prolifeproblems:

“If you don’t like slavery, don’t own slaves.

If you don’t like assault rifles, don’t buy one.

If you don’t like domestic violence, don’t harm your partner.”

“I can do whatever I want, mind your own business” is the logic behind that.

Hold on though.  Owning an gun is different than the other things because no one is harmed by the mere possession of it.  False equivalence there.

If recent history has taught us anything, it is that whenever leftists play the “don’t like it, don’t get one” card, it will only remain so until they get enough power to step the offensive up a notch.

When Peter Hitchens was debating same-sex marriage some years ago and was warning of the authoritarian measures which would follow if there were no limits set (perhaps sth like an amendment so that religious institutions would not have to compromise the traditional definition of marriage at gunpoint), he was met with cries of “If you don’t like gay marriage, don’t propose to another man” and effectively shut down his argument. Now what do we have? “Bake the f*cking cake you bigot” (case of Philips and others) and “Suck the gay cock or die” (case of August Ames).

And regarding “don’t like abortions, don’t have one”? Take a look at the recent case where a prospective nurse was told that she would not be accepted if she refused to participate in abortions, and leftists agreed that nurses and doctors SHOULD be forced to perform abortions whether they like it or not.
