Catholicism works salvation is the biggest issue. They believe they need to be good to be pleasing to heaven. In the end they want a reward for their ”good”. Rapist catholic priests just came out. Anyone who believed works salvation is not a Christian.

The thing that makes true Christians different from every other religion is we believe Sola Fide and Sola Christus. Faith ALONE. In Christ ALONE.

Repentance does not mean ”fix yourself to be worthy of God”. It means repent even from self righteousness. It means forsake everything to trust Jesus Christ. Trust when he said ”it is finished” he really meant it. The debt has been paid so dalvstion is freely yours. Never have to move an inch to be forgiven.

It’s about having faith the promises are true. I’m having faith in all his words and promises and teachings you follow the commands. I know obeying is from being freed from the power of sin with a rendered heart obtained in the moment of conversion.

Faith produces good works because if you really believe all his promises and teachings are for good you do it. You do it because you trust him that his commands are a guard rail from a cliff not a fence. All he commanded is for our benefits spiritually.

Catholics who believe works salvation are not saved. I don’t like that either (when they believe works salvation).

You just don’t know a bit of thing about Catholicism, you ignorant.

We don’t believe in faith alone because it’s not scriptural.

Everything else you said I pretty much agree with. We follow the commands of Jesus and love our neighbors and serve others because we love Jesus.

“If you love me keep my commandments” John 14:15.

And you’re right again, works alone cannot save you. Faith must be accompanied by works.

“You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.” James 2:24 (Hey look, faith alone isn’t scriptural)

And Catholicism is actually very Biblical. You should look into that sometime. 🙂
