The nuclear family isn’t even the ideal, it should be more like you and your kids and your parents all living very close together and having dinner together all the time, but they’re going after it because it’s the most solid thing the deracinated consumer fuckmass of the day is able to look back on mournfully 

They aren’t even thinking more than a generation out- you’re not even supposed to have kids, because that would belie an interpersonal relationship, you’re supposed to impassively wash from one emotionally detached sexual encounter to another and have a loose group of ““““friends”””” who are willing to cut ties with you completely and vice versa if even the slightest social shake-up happens between you. A dead thing floating from grave to grave patching its wounds with store-bought plastic garbage so it can be discarded and exchanged for a servant class too stupid to existentially consider their situation, let alone protest
