Congratulations to the happy couple!!

Planning our wedding has been eye-opening — there is so much emphasis on the external, on how beautiful or fancy the day can be, the venue, the vendors, etc. It’s the the “Wedding Industrial Complex.” But the most important part about getting married is preparing for the Marriage, not the wedding. This means becoming the two best people we can be, growing in love, and preparing for the Sacrament — asking for God’s help to help share His love with each other and the world. We are a work in progress and always will be this side of Heaven, but what a joy that work is when it is done in and for Jesus our Lord. – Lila Rose
