miraculoushedgehog:

Screw it

I like the idea of traditional femininity. I want to veil. I believe in many traditional practices

but you know what I don’t believe in??

Telling girls that they are lesser for not:

Veiling,

Wearing skirts all the time,

Walking “lightly” (excuse me for tripping in and out of everything,)

Being constantly submissive

Wearing gosh-darn hair ribbons

And having ambitions/careers (because i’m obviously going to hell for wanting to be an biomedical engineer and HELP PEOPLE. Guess I’ll have to turn in my woman card.)

I also don’t believe in telling people that they’re horrible for:

Going to a Novus Ordo mass

Having actual mental disorders (but telling people that others are mentally unstable is A-ok,)

Not being married (to quote her: “What the heck is wrong with you?! Grow Up!!”)

I could go on and on but the point remains. Tradcatfem claims to be the ultimate authority on morality and femininity, but in reality her blog is filled with poisonous thoughts that spews hatred at anyone who dares to disagree with her.

Much of what she says is NOT what Catholics believe in

All of it does NOT reflect the behavior we were told to display

She may claim to be a Catholic, but her words and actions show something so opposite it frightens me.
