The arrogance with which a lot of Christians talk about the Bible astounds me.

“I know the Bible says this, but I don’t like it, so it can’t be right.”

“God wouldn’t really do that.”

“That just feels mean.”

It’s there. It’s in the Bible. Your feelings don’t dictate the Divine nature of God. You exist by the grace of God. You are saved by the grace of God. You have absolutely nothing to do with it. You don’t get to tell God that His morality isn’t up to your standards.
