Do your girlfriend’s friends ever point at you and tell her “IT’S YA BOI!”

I absolutely wish! @its-pixie-perfect I expect this next time.

Also hard when @an-autumn-rose and I are in a LDR. 😛

I do have to say something along those lines did happen when @formerresidentprotestant first came to visit.  When he was coming up the walkway, my loving sister, @fiercequeen23 said “He’s here!!!!” is her sisterly way while I sat on the couch in shock because he arrived earlier than he told me he would 😛

You’re welcome 🙂

I will also definitely try to say this the next time you come, @formerresidentprotestant!

ok the shittiest part about christmastime is the fact people keep skipping over the forth verse of “we three kings” like… we get it. y’all are white protestants who can’t even think about mortality for one single second.

also people who skip the third verse of “o holy night” are reactionary cowards

ok but these lyrics are so powerful and amazing. im so pissed.

We Three Kings (4):

Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom;
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
Sealed in the stone cold tomb.

O Holy Night (3):

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

As a musician, a really great part of becoming catholic for me was finally getting to sing ALL the verses and not just 1 and 4 like,,

Confessional Lutherans sing those verses and love them!

Heck, my church sings those verses when we go caroling at the nursing homes every year.

Also I don’t know how you skip v. 4 of We Three Kings…like you’re going to sing about two of the kings and skip the third? What did he ever do to you?

acknowledged the reality of death being infant Jesus’ destiny, that’s what
