I am literally astounded by the number of pro-choicers recently stating “yeah I know a fetus is alive, but that doesn’t matter because I don’t want it in my body inconveniencing me and my life, so I deserve the right to terminate it.”
Was I naive to think the debate would end when science finally convinced everyone of the life in the womb? Was I naive to think, in this the age of human rights, social justice, philanthropy, and equality, that those same basic human rights would be applied to the human life growing in the womb?
“It’s a life!” “I know.” “It deserves human rights!” “I don’t care!”
Where do we even go from there? Logic and morality simply hit the brick wall of the pro-choicers’ adamant refusal to let go of their “right to choose.”

Since Planned Parenthood announced their new president this past week, they’ve been busy spreading their false propaganda.
Here’s a reminder about where their priorities lie. Don’t be fooled.

I can’t tag @fox-and-dragon but here ya go
Abortion has created a society that lets us ignore the struggles of desperate women because abortion is an ‘easy fix’. Instead of choosing to respect and comfort pregnant teenagers, we tell them to quietly get an abortion before anyone notices and judges them. Instead of changing the way our school systems work to accommodate pregnant students, we tell them to change and get an abortion. Instead of choosing to offer financial support to desperate mothers, we tell them to get an abortion because it costs less money. Instead of learning about genetic disabilities and creating a society that welcomes and accepts them, we get rid of them before they’re even born so we never have to face them.
When we tell a woman to abort, we force her to change because it’s a hell of a lot easier than changing what’s wrong with us.
Abortion is the greatest exploitation of women, as Alice Paul said.
Stop telling us that abortion is the only option. We have convinced women that they cannot possibly be happy or successful unless they do something that not only does them physical and mental trauma, but also kills a child, all so we don’t have to worry about their problems.
This is oppression.

Hungary sees abortion numbers plunge with rise of pro-family policies
Catholic Central Europe
Very good article, the minister’s speech is excellent and goes through exactly what policies Hungary uses to promote the family.
Almost like you don’t need abortion when the government supports families like they’re supposed to.
A list of the policies:
- maternity support is granted, a one-off payment offered when the child is born.
- parents are entitled to paid childcare leave for three years.
- Child home care fee (GYED) extra package, introduced in 2014, offers significant support
- a generous family tax benefit
- the family allowance, offered on the basis of a subjective right and for each child
- the family tax reduction
- housing allowance for families
- (housing)
loans with subsidized interest- state-supported housing savings programmes
- family home-start subsidy
- families who are currently raising three or more children or who
undertake to raise at least three children in the future (including the
children they already have) may uniformly receive a one-off in-cash
support of 32.260 Euros when building or buying a new estate.- these families are eligible to a 32.260 Euro (HUF 10 million) reduced residential loan with a State interest-rate subsidy
- Tax allowance for first-wed new couples
The Baby Bond (currently managed by the Hungarian State Treasury) means
that an amount – made up by the new start allowance of 137 Euros
deposited by the state for each new born baby, by an amount optionally
deposited by the parents and by an amount credited annually by the state
each month for the first two payments (10% of their amount, but a
maximum of 19.35 Euros) collected on the Start securities account opened
at the Treasury – is deposited on a bond of a maturity of 19 years.- the Elizabeth Programme of social vacation to ensure that those in need
have opportunities for holidays. Every year, the major target groups
include pensioners, large families, persons with disabilities, and
children.- The government has extended the opportunity for free or subsidised child catering.
- Extension of the free supply of textbooks.
- the government is suspended the repayment of the debt of student loan in
the first trimester of pregnancy for women who are having their first
child, release 50% of the debt of student loan of women with two
children, and for women having three or more children the government
release the whole debt.- The period of degree holder’s child care fee is extended for university students until the child reaches the age of two.
- The debt of families with three children having mortgage loans decrease
by HUF 1 million and by further HUF 1 million if they have more
children; the state will take over this amount from them.- extended the Birth Grant for Hungarian mothers living outside the borders
- Old age pension for women having a 40-year entitlement period without age restriction .
Sorry if I missed anything I just copy/pasted the parts of the article that listed the actual policies.
Just to point out, the Hungarian state has become a second father to tens of thousands of Hungarian children.
The tax reductions obviously I like the most; it doesn’t take a genius to realise that taking less of people’s money leaves them in a better position to raise children.
2 years ago, Hungary was catching all kinds of shit from Merkel and co. for not letting in migrants. After dealing with both Fascism and Communism for much of the last half century, and still recovering from them, they didn’t want to hear anyone’s shit.
Today…Merkel is admitting it was a fuckup, and irreparable damage has been done. Mass deportations are coming.
Meanwhile… Hungary is showing everyone what can be done if you focus on bettering the lives of it’s citizens.
*mind blown*

Aborted Fetus And Pill Bottle In 19th Century New York Outhouse Reveal History Of Family Planning
“Most women of the time believed that ‘a pregnancy did not exist until there was a quickening, and a child did not exist until it was born alive,’”
…Meanwhile, pro-lifers are labeled as backwards, anti-science, and stuck in the past 🙄
“rare archaeological evidence of abortion”
Ever seen Roman sewage systems? They ain’t “rare” there.
Didn’t Romans make a plant go extinct because it’s herbal use caused early abortions?
It’s interesting how they call it “family planning” as if to ignore the brutality of it
