She kicks when we sing at Mass, she wiggles all during the homily, she rustles around for more space as we do the dumb half-kneel at the Consecration of the Holy Eucharist. She goes totally still as we receive Holy Communion.

Behold the Lamb of God, little one.

That is SO AMAZINGLY CUTE!  You know, your little gal is already getting to know you by your voice and scent, and singing is a great way to bond closer to her.  No wonder she moves around so much during the musical portions of Mass.

I read about her getting quiet when you receive Communion and I think, not only is she learning about God through your participation, but right now *she* is participating right along with you!

Just think – in a few months she’ll actually be able to witness the Mass on her own!  And in a few years, she’ll be receiving Communion for the first time on her own.

You are SO wonderfully lucky.

We were told he had a 2% chance to live. Well, here’s our 2%. Perfect in every way. God is good big boy

* since this has been shared so much I’ll elaborate. He was born at 22.2 weeks weighing 13.9 oz. after 160 days he finally got to come home. 5 months old and 5 lbs 11 oz. No major issues. Our local hospital flat out said they would not save him before 24 weeks and he had a 2% chance to live. I opted to transfer (after my husband called 16 hospitals in 3 states to find one that would save him). They acted like transferring was pointless, that trying to save him was pointless. Well, here he is. Alive and thriving. Never give up

Ever since we found out we were pregnant, my husband has been going to the gym. He started out slow but now he’s going every other day. He has all these weight and measurement goals and he’s doing so well, especially since he renovates houses all day and STILL goes to the gym after work.

Last night he was talking about the changes he was seeing in his body and on the scale and it makes him so excited, and he was telling me what his goals were for before the baby comes. He said, “I just never wanna get tired holding our baby.”

AND THAT’S LITERALLY BEEN HIS MOTIVATION FOR GOING TO THE GYM THIS WHOLE TIME, MY HEART 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
