we were discussing the possibility of Pope Francis being a reptilian alien and then I recalled something important

But, like, imagine Vatican officials reading through tumblr during the beatification process. Imagine someone’s tumblr becoming official Church documents. Like in and amongst the randomness, someone has spiritual revelations that future theolgeons will study. How weird would that be?

Does this mean that my memes will be relics and spiritual tools?

Random Thoughts from Tonight

captainvatican:

I start at my new university this Monday and for once, I’m nervous. I have a full class schedule, a full ministry schedule, and am hoping to fill in a 3 hour gap in-between my Tuesday and Thursday classes with Holy Hour and personal formation. Plus I want to find a priest for spiritual direction.

It’s insane to me that I’ll be finishing my degree after putting it on hold to serve in ministry, but I’m grateful for the movement of the Father’s love for me in it all. I’ll be done by next year, but even then, it’s a long journey ahead.

I’m also realizing how fully alive I feel right now. All the elements of my person – physical, mental, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual – are getting attended to. That is a weird and exciting reality. I feel way more open to live out the love of God because of this too.

I seriously am trying my best to submit myself to the movement of the Spirit and praying that I allow myself to be open to the adventure He has in store.
