Now that it’s official, I can share the life-changing news with y’all!

For those that don’t know, I’ve been working full-time ministry for the past few years since coming back home from college. I didn’t even want to come back to my hometown. I dreaded it. But it was necessary for a lot of reasons.

But, as destiny would have it, God had a plan in the midst of it all.

Ever since I’ve come back home a few years back, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ through the abandonment of myself. I’ve gotten to speak to and serve alongside some amazing people. I’ve had some of the best of adventures. I’ve traveled way more than I ever intended (funny how God works). I’ve made some amazing new friends. But in it all, I cast it aside my education – my theology degree. I mean, I was already working in the field. I didn’t see it as critical anymore. But, my heart still quietly longed to finish it.

To make a long story short, I made a small comment in a meeting about not taking classes since I’m working multiple ministries. Thanks to the mercy of our relentless Father, and the kindness of a friend and mentor, I’ll be starting classes at the local (very) Catholic university – specifically at their school of theology – in about 14 days! All of this will be at no cost to me.

Even then, my good Lord had more in store. On top of these blessings, the university managed to advanced me ahead two years using my “missing” credits (TL;DR: couldn’t access credits because I owed my old university some money). Basically, I’ll be entering as a junior!

Oh, how He loves us.

Orientation is next week so my head is swirling about the crazy reality that, somehow, God has listened to the desires of my heart and allowed them to become a reality.

Our Father is not stingy with His blessings. When He blesses, He blesses with abundance.

Please keep me in your prayers as I journey to finish my theology degree all while balancing multiple ministries. Rest assured of my prayers, as well.

CONGRATS, BRANDON!!!

I know I’m technically “off” here, but I just got what is literally life-changing news.

Technically it was yesterday evening, but sue me.

I’m not sure how much of it I can share right now, but I’m going to need a flood of graces to prepare for what is ahead, while still balancing what I am responsible for now. Please keep me in your prayers!
