Snow White lived in a home where she was treated like dirt and had to run away from the only home she knew because she was about to be killed.

Cinderella lived in an abusive home after losing both parents and forced to clean everyday. AND MIGHT I ADD JUST WANTED TO GO TO A DANCE AND HAVE FUN ONCE IN HER LIFE

Aroura lived as a peasant in the woods for most of her life for fucks sake.

Ariel didn’t change JUST for Eric. She always had a fascination with humans even before meeting him “wISH I COULD BE PART OF YOUR WORLD” was a line sung before she even SAW him

Yes it’s good that now a days they’re more independent, unique, and outspoken, but Jesus fuck was it so wrong for them to wish for a better life? I guess you could make an argument “They can just leave on their own!”

Snow was lucky to be taken in by the dwarfs you can’t say all others would be as lucky to take in a random peasant.

I love every single Disney princess so much but it’s just IRRITATING to see the old ones get backlash for waiting for a prince or fucking whatever.
