So apparently demons are really scared of Mary. Like, Christ’s is the real authority and the power to cast them out, but they hate it when you bring her up and will try to keep you from asking her intercession ‘cause they’re absolutely terrified of her.

Which honestly makes a lot of sense if you’ve ever met a Lebanese momma.

It doesn’t surprise me that demons are freaking terrified of Mary.

Here’s a woman that was blessed with being born free of original sin.  She had all the freedom in the world to say “no” to God when He told her He wanted her to be the mother of the Son.

Instead, she was so totally into following His Will that she said yes without even thinking about it.  Here’s a human being – 100% human WITHOUT being 100% God at the same time – who would absolutely be untouchable to a demon.

Nothing they said or did would ever turn her eyes from God.  They could’t come up with anything to appeal to her.

And she was SMART.  She was a scripture scholar.  She wrote a beautiful Canticle praising God and talking about the good things He had done for her.  There could be no trickery.  Nothing would fool her into falling for their traps.

Demons have no idea what to make of her.  She won’t ever turn on God, and can commit no sin, thanks to her Son’s Sacrifice.  How many other pure non-God humans ever did that?

Anyways I had a dream last night where I was committing a variety of sins and then the Virgin suddenly appeared to me glowing halo and all with a face that clearly said “BOY WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING???” and legit scared me so bad that I jumped awake in a cold sweat and my heart rate was like 180+

I love Mary Queen of Heaven and Mother of God. Holy Theotokos whom Jesus designed Himself and assumed into Heaven with Him. The Ark of the New Covenant, the New Eve, who brought forth the Messiah to save us all and remained with Him until the cross.

Ave Maria, oro pro nobis.

Reblog if you love Mary, whose WHOLE job is to point us to Jesus and pray for us bc she’s our MOM.

Her literal last recorded words in the Gospels are, “Do whatever He tells you.” It’s not about her. It’s about Jesus. And that’s why we love her.

She is not my mom or anyone else’s. She was important but I don’t need to rely on the dead to bring me salvation, aka what the Lord is for and already did. Please, please stop elevating her to Jesus’ level.

Nobody’s bringing her to Christ’s level. If you think loving Mary automatically means we think she’s literally God, idk what to tell you.

You rely on the prayers of your family and friends for help? Oorrrrr, is that just me and the Christian community that I’m in?

Asking a person for prayers and intercession doesn’t mean they are the one’s who save us from our sins

Jesus Christ, after having given us all he could give, that is to say, the merit of his toils, his sufferings, and bitter death; after having given us his adorable body and blood to be the food of our souls, willed also to give us the most precious thing he had let, which was his holy Mother.—-St. John Vianney
