Yes. Anyone is capable of rape. Idgaf if it’s my brother, uncle, or father. I will believe the woman.

My best friend was accused of rape. And the accuser was absolutely telling the truth even though they did not press charges, they decided to tell me and I believe them. Also TWO of my friends confirmed witnessing and trying to stop it, I understand there was more than one violation. What the fuck is OPs point?

Obviously I’m not friends with the sexual predator anymore.

They specifically said “falsely accused”. Can y’all read, or…?

My point is, it’s probably not a false accusation. It also talked about believing women and I would believe a woman over my brother or father because she doesn’t benefit from coming forward about something like that. Also yes all men.

“She doesn’t benefit” Ahahahahaha! Wow. Yeah, anyway…

According to a 2017 report by the US National Institutes of Health, fake accusers “were primarily motivated by emotional gain. Most false allegations were used to cover up other behaviour such as adultery or skipping school”.

Hmmm…how about this one?

The Duke lacrosse case was a widely reported 2006 criminal case in which three members of the Duke University men’s lacrosse team were falsely accused of rape. The case evoked varied responses from the media, faculty groups, students, the community, and others. The case’s resolution sparked public discussion of racism, media bias, and due process on campuses, and ultimately led to the resignation and disbarment of the lead prosecutor, Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong.

The second stripper who performed at the house, Kim Roberts, said that Mangum was not raped. She stated that Mangum was not obviously hurt. Likewise, she refuted other aspects of Mangum’s story including denying that she helped dress Mangum after the party and saying that they were not forcefully separated by players as Mangum had reported.

DNA results revealed that the woman had sex with a man who was not a Duke lacrosse player. Attorney Joseph Cheshire said the tests indicated DNA from a single male source came from a vaginal swab taken from Mangum. Media outlets reported that this DNA was from her boyfriend.

However, it was later revealed that DNA from multiple males who were neither the lacrosse players nor Mangum’s boyfriend had been found, but that these findings had been deliberately withheld from the Court and the defense.

She had made a similar claim in the past which she did not pursue. On August 18, 1996, the dancer – then 18 years old – told a police officer in Creedmoor she had been raped by three men in June 1993, according to a police document. The officer who took the woman’s report at that time asked her to write a detailed timeline of the night’s events and bring the account back to the police, but she never returned.

The strip club’s security officer said that Mangum told co-workers four days after the party that she was going to get money from some boys at a Duke party who had not paid her, mentioning that the boys were white. The security guard did not make a big deal of it because he felt that no one took her seriously.

Mangum was arrested in 2002 for stealing a cab from a strip club where she had been working. She led police officers on a high-speed chase before she was apprehended, at which point her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. She was sentenced to three weekends in detention.

Or this one?

The woman, dirty, disheveled and in tears, ran over to a patrol car parked along a Harlem street in the early morning of Jan. 18, 1991. She told police officers she had been kidnapped at knife point near her home in Queens and raped by three black men, whom she identified.

Before the end of the month, the police arrested two of the men she had named — Gregory Counts, then 19, and VanDyke Perry, then 21. They were charged with rape, sodomy, kidnapping and criminal possession of a weapon, according to court records. The third man was never caught.

Investigators had no physical evidence. Semen recovered from the woman did not match the two accused men. The prosecution’s case relied heavily on her testimony, which was inconsistent. The defense argued the woman, a recovering crack addict, fabricated the story to protect her boyfriend, who had shot Mr. Perry two months earlier and was wanted by the police, court records show.

Yet, in 1992, a jury convicted Mr. Counts and Mr. Perry on all counts except for the weapons charges. Mr. Perry ended up serving 11 years in prison, Mr. Counts 26.

Yeah, I’m sure she didn’t stand to benefit from that, right?

In December 2017 a student was cleared of rape thanks to evidence uncovered in his Facebook messages, however, he still had to spend over three years in prison before he could prove his innocence.

Prosecutors dropped charges Monday against four California dentists, including three brothers, who defense attorneys said were falsely accused of raping a woman at a Las Vegas Strip hotel.

“After review of the facts of the case, it was clear that the allegations were completely fabricated,” lawyers for the men wrote in a prepared statement before a court appearance. “The evidence confirmed the men’s innocence, and the state has cleared them of all charges.”

None of the dentists, all of whom were already free on their own recognizance, appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court for a hearing that took about 30 seconds, just long enough for a prosecutor to tell Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman the charges were dismissed.

In early August, after the allegations were reported in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, attorneys for Ali Badkoobehi, 30, Saman Edalat, 39, Sina Edalat, 34, and Poria Edalat, 30, said video evidence contradicted the rape claim.

Badkoobehi’s attorneys Robert Draskovich and Michael Horvath said video showed that the allegations were false and the sex was consensual.

Craig Hendricks, who represents Poria Edalat, said prosecutors were presented exculpatory video evidence that showed “extremely different” circumstances than what was initially reported to authorities.

Jess Marchese, the attorney for Saman Edalat, said his client did not have a sexual encounter with the woman. Gary Guymon, who represents Sina Edalat, pointed out in August that a prosecutor did not object to releasing the men without bond.

The men were arrested in late July after the woman told Wynn Las Vegas security that she was sexually assaulted in a suite while intoxicated.

In a statement that referenced the #MeToo movement, the men thanked their lawyers, family and friends for support during a “horrific ordeal,” which included media reports of the allegations.

“We are so grateful to the justice system for recognizing that we were the victims in this case,” the statement said. “We knew when the facts came out that the vicious allegations would be exposed as lies and our good names would be cleared. At this sensitive moment in our history, we believe that women should be respected and heard and believed. But as this case shows, it is also important to keep a critical eye on those willing to use the movement for their own selfish motives and remember that innocent until proven guilty is one of our country’s bedrock principles.”

There are more. My friend @lastsonlost has a long list of cases and maybe he’ll be generous enough to share them.

Now, maybe you don’t give a shit about due process. Maybe you don’t care if one of your male relatives is accused of sexual assault. Maybe seeing them unjustly suffer even if there’s a complete lack of evidence and credible witnesses means nothing to you, but for the rest of us, it means a lot.

I have an autistic son, 16 years old and nonverbal. He is innocent and vulnerable in ways able-bodied women of sound mind are not. He would be completely unable to defend himself if someone decided to accuse him of something like that. He doesn’t understand the meaning of evil. He has no concept of it. He doesn’t have a single malicious bone in his entire body.

He sure as hell doesn’t go around generalizing and demonizing people because of their gender, much less anything else. That alone makes him a better person than you’ll probably ever be so you can shove that “yes all men” bullshit where the sun doesn’t shine.

Rape has actually decreased by over 80% since 1979, despite an increase in the willingness of victims and others to report them (and here are three more links that verify this) or that FALSE reports of rape across college campuses are at an all-time high, as reported by an equity feminist scholar that has written extensively on the subject of “rape culture”.  For good measure, here are even more statistics and information directly from the U.S. Department of Justice.

The ubiquitous “1 in 5 women will become a victim of rape” statement that keeps popping up is actually a complete and utter lie (and here are three more links to verify this as well).

I have to ask, are you surprised at all that these disgusting people would gladly join a lynch mob without any evidence? Almost as if they are completely happy to create more victim just so they can validate their paranoia.

Emmet Till, Jay Cheshire, Ross Bullock and Lesandro Guzman-Feliz were a fine price to pay, right? Several years of numerous men’s lives were also a fine sarifice, right? All so people could simply listen and believe.

@noelleian nice post up there by the way.l

Question to everyone else above who quickly jump to say yes they would believe the accuser no questions asked:

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR WRONG?

WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THEM if it came out that the accusations were indeed FALSE and after 10 to 20 years in prison you have to face them again.

“She suddenly broke and said I was absolutely right. She had made the whole thing up because she was angry with her father and wanted to teach him a lesson,” McCulloch said.

I don’t want to hear how you think it’s rare or how you swear up and down that men are believed more because it’s not true. There’s practically a new Old Man released from prison every other day.

My question stands.

WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THE INNOCENT MAN YOU HELP PUT A WAY FOR A CRIME HE DID NOT DO?

I feel like there’s is this general belief that once you have someone convicted of a crime that’s it like they magically stop existing and you never have to face that person ever again.

The woman who falsely accused Brian Banks thought that since she was wrong.

Now she has to pay back 1.5 million and I honestly think she deserves far worse.

Mary Kay Letourneau, the Seattle elementary school teacher who was convicted of raping her sixth-grade student before she ultimately married him and had two daughters, said in a new interview she didn’t know the love affair was a crime.

“If someone had told me, if anyone had told me, there is a specific law that says this is a crime,” she said on “Sunday Night” on Australia’s Channel Seven. “I did not know. I’ve said this over and over again. Had I’d known, if anyone knows my personality. Just the idea, this would count as a crime.”

She also said she felt “absolutely” wrongfully convicted.

She added that although Vili Fualaau was 12 years old at the time, 22 years her junior, she claimed he “was the boss” and pursued her, as news.com.au reported

———-

Why do we let these sick fucks walk the streets again?

I’ll be fully honest, I think news reports like this contribute to it some. You always see words like “affair with a minor” and stuff. It puts out that wording and phrasing that is so slippery. You cannot “have an affair with a minor”, you cannot “hook-up with a minor”, none of that. It’s rape.

Do you know how shady you have to be, to be an authority figure and not immediately tell a child “pursuing you” that no such relationship should or will happen? ESPECIALLY in a professional, academic environment?

She is an adult. It is HER responsibility to direct the kid to healthy understandings of minor-adult interactions. It is not hard nor impossible to report the behavior to school authorities and speak with the parents before moving the child into a different classroom environment. It is not unrealistic to put distance between yourself and a deluded child who thinks that they can romantically pursue an adult in any healthy way (assuming the kid was “““consenting”““ instead of being pursued by her first).

The only kind of person who allows a child to “be the boss” is a rapist pedophile, pure and simple. She knew exactly what she was doing and like a typical narcissistic manipulator is putting blame on her victim.

How is she not a registered sex offender?

A disgusting miscarriage of justice.

This is soooo disgusting. Why don’t more men protest against this type of injustice???

On a serious note, how come the men that always shout “men get raped and sexually assaulted too” ,whenever a woman is talking about her experience, don’t go out and protest against stuff like this?

You see all the ground work, all the protesting and organization women do to combat rape and sexual assault against women so why don’t these men do the same if they really care??? This is a very serious issue. Too many female teachers get away with raping and sexually assaulting their male students, there should be way more work done to fight this instead of merely saying “men get raped too”.

WHO WOULD LISTEN?

WHEN YOU JUST TELL US WE CAN’T BE RAPED LIKE 90% OF THIS WEBSITE AND SO MANY MANY MANY OTHERS ?  Hell, I’m responding to a response that took a story about a child being raped and use it as a weapon to attack other male victims.

We fight tirelessly to combat male rape and sexual assault and at every turn you you fight to shut us up.

Every single time we protest or  try to discuss ways of tackling issues like male rape we get shut down. It has even got to the point where our venues have received bomb threats. Every time someone wants to open a shelter for men it gets faced with problems like death threats

Every time someone wants to change rape laws to include men and boys someone wants to change them back or it gets changed to exclude female rapist. Or  just make it impossible to charge women with rape.

Support lines either laugh at us, turn us down, hang up on us or treat us like we were the perpetrators.  Not to mention a lot of us are afraid of calling the police on our abuser for fear of being arrested ourselves.

THIS IS EVERY TIME WE SPEAK UP ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE.

I have personally lost count of all the people that either told me that my rape  didn’t  matter or that I can’t be raped.

But you know continue attacking us I’m used to it.

^^^

And I’m getting particularly tired of this bullshit narrative that there’s a bunch of stupid jocks clapping for every kid that gets raped. Even if they were there not the one to fucking policy and pushing for a laws that ignore us. And leave it to the folks in the notes to take a story about a boy being raped and making about women.
