Exile, aka The Beauty and the Beast episode, has such an unsettling atmosphere mixed with cheesy props that it fits oddly well into the Star Trek universe. I didn’t expect it.

I liked that Archer’s love interests (minus the mirrorverse) were all close to his age such as Erika Hernandez. Far too often do male characters get love interests that are 15+ years younger than them because of Hollywood’s ageism and sexism. Previous Trek series sometimes did this too (Kes and Neelix’s actors’ 20 year age difference comes to mind) so it was nice they didn’t do this with Archer.
