If someone tells you to stop ripping on them, even if you’re joking, fucking listen. That shit gets tiring doesn’t matter if it’s a fucking joke no one wants to hear negative shit all the time.

Some of y’all think you can be rude asf all the time bc you’re “just joking” but you’re seriously wearing people down.

Honestly I think the absolute scariest thing about moving from one major point in your life to the next is the void that the previous point leaves behind. When you expend so much time and energy into a singular purpose, at the expense of all other things in your life (and suddenly it is no longer there) it is SCARY, feeling its absence. You feel it acutely, and even though the logical part of your brain tells you “you should be happy to complete this/reach this milestone,” you are filled with restless, floating anxiety towards the unknown.

Because what ARE you, without this thing to act as a guiding rod for your energies? Are you even a full person without it? The future is strange and alien and terrifying and without its presence you begin to wonder if you were better off NOT finishing it, because perhaps that stage of your life is the best it’ll ever get. The fear of liminal spaces is profound and there seems to be no bottom to it
